quick post on recent purchases...

Barry M dazzle dust in Bronze. Having blue eyes I am always after tricks to make them pop! I use a gold as a base normally but someone recommended bronze from Barry M. I have used the dazzle dust in the past and liked them for nights out but for every day I wasnt so sure. But I have to say that the pigment in this is great! Very shimmery and colours are really bold. Officially my new love.

I also bought 2 cute things from Accessorize. A bangle and a lovely bag. I love it when Accesorize cracks open the summery stuff. Makes me think of misspent youth in Ibiza. I am too old for it now but its good to reminisce about it :)

weekends are hard....

for diets that is.

I am so used to spending Friday night watching bad TV, indulging in my fave tipple of B & C and eating all manner of rubbish. This Friday was different. I bought myself some snacks that were healthy choices and resisted the temptation to have a drink.

Gosh it was hard but I am so glad that I did it. I woke up without a hangover and didnt snack all Friday night. My weight is such a battle but I am seriously on a mission. I did 3 hours of exercise last week - thats more exercise than I have done in my whole life!

So I have renewed vigour this week. Its my birthday at the start of Feb and I have a big night out with the girls and I want to lose 6lbs before then. Bring it on!

So I need me one of those has morped from me needed lots of materialistic things to needed me a smaller waist! (For a while anyway!)

And get this - I have only got myself a follower *waves* hello little follower. I already love you.

its been a while...

what with the bloomin snow and a poorly sick bambino its been difficult to do any shopping!

so first day out today and here's what I got...

A gorgeous pair of strappy shoes - leopard print (!) I know (!) from the next sale. I lurve lurve lurve them. They are so sex kitteny! A bargain - £45 to £20.

A cute black and green jacket from armarni.

and that was it. Not so much shopping done today - pout.

but in other news, my diet is working and I have lost another 4lbs this week. yay and double yay.

I feel motivated that summer 2010 is going to spent in cute clothes rather than covering up in black!

I don't want to get to my 40's and regret not doing something about the fact that I have put on weight. So I am on a mission! Join me if you like!

Snow, snow all around

and I am stuck inside. This is tragic as I have a week left off work and its being wasted sat at home coz of the snow!

It doesnt look like its set to end either so I may have to take up a hobby.

Been researching netbooks as my laptop is on its last legs. I just want a small one that will fit in my bag. I would ask for any reviews/suggestions but I think it might echo in here ;)

Did an hour on the Wii - said I had lost 3lbs. What the heck - I am not convinced but if it means that the daft machine won't goad me about gaining weight then I am not complaining.

Here's hoping that the snow stops so I can at least get out and about for my Bebe's birthday on Thursday! xx

Random ramblings

So how was today ...

well its still bloody snowing. Not so much a problem for us at the moment as I am not in work until next Monday but its kind of restricting as our road is not used often and getting a sports car up a hill full of snow is very difficult!

But anyway - today I cracked out the Wii - I had a go of one last year at a friends and loved the Wii Fit. I then mithered and mithered to get one ( I need me one of those now I think was the phrase I used!)

So I got one and for the 1st month I religiously worked out. Its been 69 days since your last workout. It made me feel so guilty. I dreaded getting on incase it gave me a hard time. And it did. 12lbs... Yes thats right 12lbs I have gained since my last visit. Hell that's more than my baby weighed at birth!

So that's spured me on to be motivated I guess. Blah - I hate the whole diet thing. The second I start to eat healthy all I think about is food. Sucks. Big time.

But am doing it any way. So there. Still no followers. Oh woe is me. That's cool - I am guessing a spendaholic, fat hoarder is not the sort of blog that the modern woman wants to read.

Ok so what did I buy today. I bought a couple of eyeshadows from ruby and millie - just to try. An emerald green and a shimmery silver. Not day wear - evening I guess.

I got one of those £5 vouchers from boots for spending a certain amount. I lietrally have these damn things floating in my bag. You cant get out of the store as you end up spending another tenner with your voucher!

So anyhoo - I got a nail varnish from boots - a number 7 stay perfect. Bit of a cheapy one but I find they do last quite well. The colour is night silver - number 62. Its a dark grey silver and is actually bloody lovely on. Doesnt go matt like a lot of shimmer polishes so I highly recommend!

Other items in my little bag of purchases was some piz buin self tan from TKMax - £3 in the sale bargain - smells like fake tan but will do for when I run out.

Finally some little intense shots of conditioner. I am on a mission to get my hair growing. After having waist length hair for most of my adult years - I got itchy feet at the end of last year and had it cut to shoulder length with layers. Whilst I loved it for the first night out, I now hate it and feel some unfeminine. I NEEEEED my hair back. Got some suppliments from Holland and Barrett that look like freakin horse tablets and are as difficult to swallow as I am sure horse tablets are (!) We will see.

Gosh I bet anyone who ever reads this things crikey this chick can talk. Yes, I can - I am just like this in real life!
